Most of the interior designers I know are working with SketchUp and AutoCAD, and some have chosen to use ArchiCAD. I’ve been using Revit since 2013, when I had to calculate material quantities for a hospital and a school project bid. I enrolled in a course, four Saturdays in a row, nine hours a day, to learn the basics.

It was very helpful, and I was able to calculate accurately everything I needed. As an Interior Designer, I miss the nice details, cute colors, and pretty presentation that I was used to creating in AutoCAD. I had to deal with the complexity of creating simple things. However, this was the price I decided to pay to have a high-quality model.

Three years ago, I had a big and complex interior design project to draw. I received everything in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and I decided to redraw the entire project using Revit. It was challenged, but it opened up a new way to model interior design projects.

Connecting creativity with technical drawings and saving time was essential. I decided to create a course for interior design professionals. This course helps them migrate to Revit and take advantage of this great software with hundreds of possibilities.

The course has around 30 sections. I will provide an exclusive Revit Template with basic families. You can use it to create an interior design project from scratch.

The template includes: basic and stacked walls with different materials and conditions. It also contains floors, windows, doors, and vanities. Additionally, custom cabinetry, tags, and much more are included.

If you are more of a reading-oriented person, you might prefer illustrations and text instead of video. I will also have a book format. It will be the same price as the video lessons. There will be both Portuguese and English options.

The classes are expected to be ready by the end of January 2026. If you’re interested and would like to pre-enroll, please send me an email, and I’ll reserve a spot for you.
