So, I put together what I was doing in Urban Planning and my monograph, and with my friend Clarissa, we created all the necessary maps for Mangaratiba that would support my theory that this Site Plan was the best place to build a Resort Spa.

After analyzing, researching, and identifying a lack of locations with architectural uniqueness in the area—something that could attract the public—we proposed a zone for the bungalows, designed to prioritize the view and offer interesting architecture. These houses would be planned to host families or groups of people.

A dedicated area for corporate guests will also be created, including an auditorium and event room to meet their specific needs.

The development of this project was grounded in research about areas of tourist interest and the growing hospitality market, based on data from the following institutions: ABIH – Brazilian Hotel Industry Association, IBGE – Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, and the Municipality of Mangaratiba.

This work is a proposal for the implementation of a hospitality enterprise—in this case, a Resort Spa—that would offer three types of accommodations for different kinds of guests, generating local jobs and boosting the region’s economy.
