I believe not everybody knows early in life what they want to do for a living. I didn’t. I liked a lot of different things, and when I put them all together, I couldn’t find a clear career path to follow. I liked justice, drawing, working with my hands, making handmade cards, creating Christmas tree ornaments, and so on. I thought Industrial Design would give me what I was looking for.
I loved the color theory class. We painted an A3 color palette using only the primary colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow + black and white). I kept that work for a long time because I was proud of it. We also had three-dimensional drawing classes, among others, but those were the ones that really caught my attention. Still, I realized that Industrial Design wasn’t the right course for me.

I took a break and later enrolled in an architecture program, as I mentioned in my previous post. After switching to this new university, everything changed. The technical hand-drawing classes and AutoCAD quickly became my favorites. I spent hours working with the old AutoCAD R14. It was pretty outdated, but it was the one available and the one I fell in love with.
Setting up line weights, colors, creating floor plans and sections… that was my favorite part.
